Meet Our Staff
Sarah Davenport
Sarah Davenport, coordinator for The PORT, comes to us with a background in outdoor recreation and youth leadership development. Before joining The PORT, Sarah worked as the assistant director at a girls’ camp in southern Maine; she has also worked with Girl Scouts and the YMCA.
Damien Howell
Damien Howell, our teen center supervisor, is in the education field. Damien completed the University of Southern Maine’s extended teaching program this spring, and has worked with both middle and high school students as an English teacher.
Sarah and Damien work closely with a Teen Advisory Board to plan and lead programming at The PORT. They are also supported by a volunteer Adult Advisory Committee. For more information on either of these groups, contact Sarah.
