Do you have a skill you’d like to share? Can you tutor or offer homework help? Are you interested in providing a positive role model for our community’s teens?
The PORT welcomes the support of community volunteers. Perhaps you’d like to join our Adult Advisory Committee, to help with fundraising, grant-writing, or community education. Or maybe you’d rather spend time working with teens as an event chaperone or an after-school tutor. If you are interested in volunteering with The PORT, contact us.
In order to ensure that our teen center continues to survive, we are dependent on community financial support to match our student fund-raising activities and grant appeals. Any contributions help finance PORT activities, defray operating costs, and support our professional staff. The PORT is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. If you are interested in supporting us financially, please contact Evan Kumagae or call (207) 869-1036.
